Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BearLog, a virtual queue service operated at bearlog.app (“BearLog”, “we”, “us”). By creating a provider account or joining a queue, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

BearLog lets businesses (“providers”) run a virtual waiting line and lets their customers join and track that line from a phone browser. BearLog manages the wait before a service. It is not an appointment, booking, payment, or medical-records system, and it does not guarantee that a provider will serve you or how long a wait will be. Wait estimates are approximate.

2. Provider accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including staff you invite.
• You are responsible for how you operate your queue, including honoring the order of the line and complying with the laws that apply to your business.
• You must not use BearLog to collect sensitive personal information from customers (for example health details) through nicknames or otherwise.

3. Customers

Customers may join a queue without an account. Your place in line is tied to the device or link you joined with; if you lose it, staff at the venue can help. The provider you are queueing for — not BearLog — is responsible for the service you are waiting to receive.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• New provider accounts start with a 15-day free trial. No payment details are required for the trial.
• After the trial, continued use requires a paid plan. Payments are processed by third-party processors (currently Lemon Squeezy for card payments and PayMongo for payments in the Philippines). We do not store your card details.
• Plans are prepaid for the chosen period (monthly, quarterly, or yearly) and are non-refundable except where required by law. If a plan lapses, your queue is paused until payment resumes; your account data is retained.
• Prices may vary by region and may change with notice.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service: no unauthorized access, scraping, abuse of queue joins, interference with other providers’ queues, or use of the service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep BearLog available but provide it “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

7. Termination

You can stop using BearLog and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (billing, liability limits) survive termination.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify providers by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
